How to Observe the Five Moral Precepts
Meaning:
Lay devotee: Venerable Sir, I request for the five moral precepts together with the Three Refuges. Out of compassion for me, please administer to me the five moral precepts.
Bhikkhu: I will recite the following. Do repeat after me.

Homage to Him, the Exalted One, the Worthy, the Fully Enlightened One.

Homage to Him, the Exalted One, the Worthy, the Fully Enlightened One.
Homage to the Blessed One, Accomplished and Fully Enlightened.
Homage to the Blessed One, the Consummate One, the Supremely Enlightened One.
Homage to the Blessed One, the Perfect One, the Fully-Enlightened One.
